Only 1 chance to clear NET from 2018; final decision yet to be taken by HRD

In an attempt to make aspirants serious towards their preparations, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is planning to conduct the National Eligibility Test (NET) only once a year from 2018. Earlier, CBSE has expressed its displeasure to the HRD Ministry regarding holding the exam twice a year. If the plea is accepted, a single exam will be conducted next year.
